3-D Candies Is Easy with 3-D candy molds

The procedure in making 3-D candies requires little effort as long as you have the 3-D candy molds. The use of a hard candy recipe works very well with a 3-D candy mold along with the use of a chocolate recipe. A hard candy recipe consists of 2-cups granulated sugar ½ tsp of flavoring (your choice) 2/3 cups light corn syrup, ¼ tsp. food coloring and ¾ cups of water. A very simple recipe to make and you can substitute Kool-Aid or Lemon-aide powder for the flavoring and coloring. You just need to make sure that the mixture reaches a hardball stage, which occurs at 300°F. This is tested by dropping a few drops of the mixture into a cold clear glass of water. You can find many recipes for hard candies and most of them do work in a 3-D candy mold.
